What to expect during your treatment

Our medical aesthetician will conduct a full skin analysis which includes medical history, current skin care routine & lifestyle questions to better understand your skin concerns.

Treatment will include careful gradual application of the 2 step peel starting with a 2 minute leave on time the 1st session, 3 min the 2nd, 4 min the 3rd, 5 min the 4th and 6 min the final session along with finishing the service with your eye cream each session

Who is not a candidate for chemical peels?

  • Clients with nervous ticks or uncontrollable movements

  • Clients highly uncomfortable with being treated around the eye area

  • Clients on accutane or within 6 months of using Accutane

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding clients

  • Clients who have recently been tanned/sunburned 

  • Clients using photosensitizing medications

  • Clients with allergies to any of the ingredients in the solutions especially aspirin

  • Clients with active bacterial, viral or inflammatory skin conditions ie. eczema, rosacea, cold sores, pink eye, psoriasis, other forms of dermatitis 

  • Clients with open wounds

  • Clients undergoing treatment for cancer

  • Clients with medical conditions ie. diabetes, cancer, lupus, heart conditions

  • Clients who’ve undergone surgery to the face in the last 6 months

  • Clients who’ve had facial hair removal in the last 72 hours

  • Clients who’ve had a permanent makeup application within the last week

 What does this chemical peel feel like?

Clients will experience mild to moderate tingling upon application and a gradual decline upon removal of step 1 of the solution. The scent of the peel resembles bleach and our medical aesthetician will provide a fanning device to keep you cool and comfortable

How often should I do this peel?

The peel should be performed on a weekly basis for 5 weeks straight.  For maintenance, this peel can be performed 2x/yearly and our medical aesthetician will recommend skincare to enhance and extend the performance of your results

What can I expect post treatment?

Your periorbital area will have a flushed appearance immediately post peel but the flushing is temporary and will subside in 24-48 hours

You will be provided with a chemical peel post care sheet so that you know exactly how to care for your eyes for the duration of the treatment series

You will be guided through how to properly care for your skin at home with an appropriate skin care routine that is completely customized to your skin goal
